MULTI-FREQUENCY/MULTI-PROTOCOL WIRED OR WIRELESS 125 kHz to 5800 MHz Sentinel RFID scanners are typically integrated with either wired or wireless data communication interfaces so that the mission-critical data can be seamlessly uploaded to the host server/controller database and so that appropriate actions can be taken. On the wireline systems solutions, we offer the standard serial interfaces, such as RS-232, RS422, RS-485, 1394, and USB for baud rates of up to 256 Kbps. Our latest installation requests are leaning towards the the emerging and fast-growing wireless standards of Wi-Fi, 802.11a/b/h, and Bluetooth, to enable WLANs, or Personal Area Networks (PANs), which have a range of up to 100 meters. We select market-leading modems from Proxim, Lucent, Agere, and Airlan that support different network topologies and auto-configurability. For WLANs, we are using the latest hubs from D-Link and LinkSys. For custom RFID/Automatic Data Communication (ADC), wireless LAN, Wi-Fi or WLAN, or PAN-related development or consultation, please contact us.
